Ekman, Anna

My name is Anna Ekman and I work with photography. I was born in 1970 in Stockholm where I also live. My staged photographs are inspired by Baroque imagery with its motifs from antique myths, but address contemporary questions about human identity and its fragile existence. The analogue camera allows me to work with lighting in a slow and experimental way.
